New York, N.Y. – April 1, 2022 – Todd Coats and Elliot Strunk, the two designers and hosts who skyrocketed to national prominence since their September 2020 podcast debut, are going to be included in the forthcoming book Top 100 Podcasts to Listen to Before You Die. Each of the podcasts in this overview, edited by Spotify CEO Daniel Ek, have been selected because they bring listeners pleasure, profit and purpose.

Chosen for inclusion by Joe Rogan and Elon Musk, the podcast “Two Designers Walk Into a Bar” has been noted by both men for changing their perspectives when it comes to conducting business and all-around decision-making.

“Sure, I’ve made some questionable choices over the last couple of years, but everyone I’ve been talking to, regardless of background or level of education, think Todd and Elliot are the real deal,” stated Rogan. “And don’t forget, one day we are all going to die, so it’s time to start listening.”

Musk added, “Whether I’m working to reinvent personal mobility, colonizing space or digging deep tunnels into different parts of our home planet, I’ve gotta listen to something inspiring to keep moving. My secret is Elliot and Todd. Their vision and insight come frighteningly close to matching mine. I plan to have them with me when I die on Mars.”

Other podcasts to be included in the book come from noteworthy hosts like Conan O’Brien, Roman Mars and Dax Shepard.

“We couldn’t be more honored to be included in such prestigious company,” said Coats. Strunk added, “And while we don’t have time in our day to listen to 99 other podcasts, we bet they’re pretty good.”

Announced today by Penguin Random House, the publisher of the previous best-selling podcast listening book, Do My Ears Deceive Me?! (published in hardcover as Grab Me Some Q-Tips!) the book project will be guided by Bill Loni, executive editor. Acquired from Mike Rotch of the Rotch Agency for North American and audio rights, the book’s publication is scheduled for June 2022 and will include an introduction penned by noted author and culture critic Chuck Klosterman.
